Bassam saah worked as a store clerk at the budget store food mart he and his brother owned. Saah was last seen alive at approximately 7:15pm, by a witness leaving the store. At approximately 7:30 pm, two witnesses entered the store and observed an open register and money on the floor with no clerk behind the counter. The witnesses called police and the police found saah behind the store counter. The body was not visible from the customer side of the counter. Saah sustained several gunshot wounds and died at the scene.
