At approximately 7:55 p.M., south precinct officers responded to uab hospital (1802 6th avenue south) on report of a person shot. They arrived on the scene to learn the victim was transported to uab by a female. While at uab, the victim succumbed to a gunshot wound he received within the city of birmingham. The preliminary investigation suggests the victim and the female were involved in a domestic argument while the two were in the 3000 block of 30th avenue north. The female was transported to the birmingham city jail with charges pending.Agency
