Cold case spotlight on november 27, 1996, 29-year-old kristen wilson was attacked and strangled in her own home by an unknown intruder. She had just finished unloading groceries after a trip to the store when she was ambushed in her southwest houston apartment. Wilson's parents found her body the next morning. There were no signs of forced entry but the door was unlocked and the victim was nude from the waist down. Investigators believe wilson fought with her attacker, who may have raped her.
