930 west 200 south, salt lake city. This occurred in front of a single family residence at 930 west 200 south. The north side of the street is lined with single family homes, the south side of the street is the I-80 freeway. The victim was found on the sidewalk in front of 930 west.Anivar canals, a 36 year old male hispanic. He was was working in salt lake city at a warehouse. He lived at 264 south foss street #12.The complainant heard an argument in front of her home at 01:40.. She looked out and saw anivar canals lying on the sidewalk. There were 3 male hispanic men nearby. Two were standing over anivar, the third was leaning up against a tree in the front yard. There was a yellow car parked in front of her house that apparently with the three hispanic men. The complainant went to her phone to call police when she looked out again, the yellow car and the three men were gone. During the argument, the complainant thought she heard the hispanic equivalent name for “dale” spoken by the suspects. Investigation information stated the yellow car may have been seen at the “la diana” at 927 west folsom. The victim was taken to lds hospital where he died.
