A few hours before joe patterson, 34, was gunned down on august 25, 2010 inside his tyler's creek townhouse, he was seen at 9:08 p.M. At the value place extended stay hotel at 6725 fairfield business drive in fairfield, according to fairfield twp. Police. Hotel security camera footage shows that a man came into the hotel around the same time, who police believe may have information that would help their investigation. Patterson was shot multiple times by a 9 mm handgun after two suspects stormed his home around 11:19 p.M. Aug. 25, 2010 at 3385 bentbranch lane while his wife and three daughters were upstairs. The butler county coroner has ruled his death a homicide. The two suspects, who remain at large, were armed with the handgun and a semiautomatic rifle. The suspects were both wearing dark clothing. One is described as a shorter, slender black male and the second, also described as a black male, stands approximately 6 feet tall and weighs about 230 pounds, according to police.
