Date of homicide : 10-13-2010 case number : 10-49568 victim : nicholas mcgee on 10-13-2010 at approximately 0110 hours,(1:10 am) deputy kruse was sitting at 60th street west and 14th street when he heard 4 gun shots. At 0114 hours the complainant called from 6011 2nd street west and said that she heard gunshots and saw 3 black males running through her yard. Deputy kruse responded to the complainants address and did not find anything there. Deputy kruse then walked down 60th ave. Dr. West, which is where the b/m's ran from, and located a door open with the glass shattered out of it at 205 60th ave. Dr. West. Deputy kruse approached the house and observed 4 bullet holes on the door and then observed the victim laying behind the door, which was open about 1 1/2 feet, with his head between the door and the wall in the corner. The victim's body was laying out into the living room diagonally. The suspects were described as two black males, one wearing all black and the other one wearing a red shirt anyone with information regarding this case is encouraged to contact the manatee county sheriff's office at (941) 747-3011.
