On november 5, 2001, 83 year old j.D. Ferguson was reported missing from his residence in the area of the broadmoor hotel. A few of his personal items were missing from the home, but mr. Ferguson had left behind his vehicle and the residence was locked. Mr. Ferguson was a heavy drinker and frequented bars around colorado springs. He was last seen wearing a white shirt and dark pants with a money clip. Mr. Ferguson may have been depressed. Criminal involvement is suspected in his disappearance.
