Detectives request assistance from the public in obtaining information on a double homicide that occurred on monday, november 23, 2020, that claimed the lives of darnell ogletree and jonathan jackson.At approximately 3:18 a.M., officers from the west precinct responded to a shot spotter call at 2010 48th place southwest. Officers arrived and observed a male victim lying on the ground next to a car with what appeared to be a gunshot wound to the upper extremities. Officers also observed the identified victim, johnathan jackson unresponsive in the driver’s seat of a vehicle.Birmingham fire and rescue responded to the scene and both victims were pronounced deceased.
