On october 13, 1984, at approximately 2256 hours, johnny miller and several of his friends were arguing with several black males in the area of roberts road (formerly in pine chapel) near the hampton coliseum. During the argument one of the suspects pulled out a firearm and shot miller in the chest. Miller ran from the scene and ended up in the area of 53 roberts road. Miller would later die from his wound at the hospital. Two of the suspects were reported to be wearing jackets with ny on the front. All suspects were black males and reported to be in age range of 17 to 20 years old and possibly high school students at the time of the homicide.
