Richmond police detectives have identified the victim in yesterday’s homicide on hammond avenue as sharnelle wilson, 34, of richmond. At approximately 6:58 a.M., august 9, richmond police responded to the 1100 block of hammond avenue for a person down. Officers arrived and located an adult female with apparent injuries down and unresponsive on a sidewalk. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The medical examiner will determine cause and manner of death.Agency
