On november 19, 1985, the body of sharon joan hopper was discovered in the wooded area on the southeast corner of whirley road and van dyke road in lutz, fl the cause of death was multiple stab wounds. The victim had left her parents residence the evening of on november 12, 1985 in hernando, north of inverness in citrus county. The victim was known to be at griff's tavern in inverness on november 13, 1985 and she indicated that she was going to hitchhike to the tampa area. The victim's last known location was at the pick-kwik store on hwy 41 at the pasco/hernando county line around 2 am on november 13, 1985.
