On january 23, 2016, at approximately 2139 hours, officers were dispatched to 519 darnaby ave. In reference to the caller hearing 13 gunshots heard. The call for service was later upgraded to a vehicle stuck in a yard that struck a utility pole at the same address. Officers arrived and observed garner in the driver's seat slumped over the console. Garner was pronounced dead on scene by medics. Officers were able to locate footprints in the snow which led from the crime scene to a residence on hannah street.Agency
