Cynthia oquist's body was found by a homeless person who was living in the area. He went to a nearby convenience store where he located a lvmpd patrol officer and reported his discovery. Investigators arrived and began their investigation. It appeared that cynthia had been left in the area for three to five days. She was initially unidentified but identification was made by fingerprints at the time of the autopsy. The medical examiner, at autopsy, determined the cause of death to be from blunt force trauma and strangulation. Investigators learned that cynthia was last seen in the downtown las vegas area working as a prostitute. Suspect compositethe suspect composite was provided by another prostitute who was the victim of an attempt murder. Investigators believe the suspect may be responsible for the murder of cynthia.Agency
