The victim was found outside of an apartment complex situated near the highland canal and south parker road. He appeared to be the victim of an assault. Due to the seriousness of his injuries, the victim was transported to a nearby hospital. Unfortunately, the victim did not survive. At the autopsy, it was determined that the victim died as a result of blunt force trauma. The suspect(s) responsible for the murder of daniel grimmett have yet to be identified.
