At approximately 8:42 a.M., west precinct officers were dispatched to a person down call in the 3900 block of walnut avenueofficers arrived on the scene and observed the victim lying unresponsive off the roadway suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.Birmingham fire and rescue personnel arrived on the scene and pronounced the victim deceased.The preliminary investigation suggests a community member observed the victim and called 911. Officers discovered the victim had been shot.Agency
