On january 28, 1991, 37 year old david rector was found by the colorado springs police officers who were dispatched to the university apartments on the report of a dead body. Upon arrival, officers met with a neighbor who related that he had not seen david rector for several days. Concerned about his welfare, he entered the apartment and found the decomposing body of mr.
