Description: A Resident Reported Paying A Contractor To Paint Their Residence. The Contractor Completed Two Small Jobs And Then Paid Them $1,375 Via Zelle As A Down Payment For The Labor To Paint. The Contractor Stopped Communicating With The Homeowner And Did Not Start The Job. Officers Called The Contractor Who Answered The Phone, But After They Identified Themselves As A Glenview Police Officer Investigating Fraud, The Contractor Hung Up And Additional Calls Went To Voicemail.
