At approximately 10:20 a.M., officers from the east precinct responded to 2209 center street north. Upon arrival the victim was found on the floor unresponsive. Birmingham fire and rescue responded to the scene and the victim was pronounced deceased. Bpd was later notified by medical examiner the manner of death was deemed as homicide. The preliminary investigation suggest the victim was discovered after she was not seen nor heard from in days. Information is limited in this investigation. There are no suspect(s) in custody.
