On the night of january 25, 1988 or morning of the 26th, 29 year old eileen zarlenga is believed to have been lured or abducted from her apartment located at 1082 patricia drive, girard, (trumbull county) ohio, leaving her 3 year old daughter alone inside. After being missing for several days, eileen's body was located in a wooded area off of gladstone road (just east of state route 45) in jackson township, ohio (mahoning county) on january 30, 1988. She perished from multiple stab wounds with some indications of sexual assault. The mahoning county sheriff's office is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
