Description: MVT. On July 8, 2024, the victim parked in front of a business in the 2100 block of Southgate. The victim left their vehicle running at the curb while they went into the business. The victim returned to see a white male suspect had entered the victims car and began driving it away. The victim attempted to stop the motor vehicle theft. The suspect drove recklessly causing injury to the victim. The suspect left with the vehicle; a white 2013 Subaru Outback bearing Colorado plate ASDZ33. The victim was taken to an area medical center for treatment. The suspect is described as a white male, 30s. If you see this vehicle, please do not attempt to contact the vehicle or driver, notify dispatch at the non-emergency number (719)444-7000. As a reminder it is illegal to leave a running vehicle unattended and un-secured.
