Description: Arrest. On 06/22/24 at 8:33AM, the Colorado Springs Public Safety Communications Center received a 911 call from a citizen who stated someone had attempted to carjack him using a knife, in a parking lot in the 7700 block of N. Academy Blvd. When officers got into the area they located the suspect and detained him. The suspect, DANIEL FUQUA, is in custody on a felony warrant. The investigation is ongoing regarding the incident this morning, as well as one from 05/29/24 involving the same victim/citizen.No ongoing threat to the community.
