Description: — A suspect is in custody Tuesday morning after a shooting and hours-long standoff with police in McKeesport. Allegheny County Police said 42-year-old Michael Paul Plopi, who is from McKeesport, is facing criminal attempt, aggravated assault and persons not to possess firearms charges. According to the criminal complaint, McKeesport Police were called to the 1200 block of Pirl Street around 7:30 p.m. Monday for a ShotSpotter alert. Police said when they got to the scene, they heard an additional four gunshots go off and believed the suspect was attempting to shoot at them.
