On saturday, july 3, 2010, at 4:21 pm, police were dispatched to the 3000 block of nelson place, se, for the report of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they located john hamer pernell lying in the grass alongside 3012 nelson pl., se, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Mr. Pernell was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead. The metropolitan police department seeks the public’s assistance in gathering information regarding this incident.Agency
