On february 29th, 1996, just before midnight, officers responded to the residence at 86 york st. For a report of a man shot. Officers found 34 year-old ricky burroughs inside the location suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He died from his injuries two days later. The investigation revealed that two men broke into the residence and shot burroughs during a home invasion robbery.
