The body was located on a gravel pile covered in trash, partially clothed. The victim was identified as gatha d bowman through dental records. Bowman was reported missing through richland county on february 16, 1993. Her van was recovered near the best western in the mansfield area on february 16, 1993 by a deputy on routine patrol.
