On may 23, 1985, at approximately 3:15 a.M., police responded to a report of a stabbing victim lying behind the old sears building on ne grand avenue. Police discovered frank richard jones, a 32-year-old white male, lying deceased in a grassy area near the intersection of ne lloyd boulevard and ne 7th avenue. Mr. Jones had died of an apparent stab wound. Frank jones was a transient who was described as a “loner” by people who knew him. Mr. Jones was last seen walking southbound on ne 9th avenue approaching pacific street with an unidentified white man. The unidentified man has been described as being approximately 30-years of age, 6 foot 1 inches tall, 155 to 160 pounds, with collar length, dark brown or black hair, a stubble beard, wearing an army fatigue style jacket and blue jeans.Agency
