Tacoma Police detectives need your help to identify the suspect(s) responsible for the murder of 24-year-old Christian Cherry. On Dec. 14, 2023, At 3:38 a.M., Officers were dispatched to a shooting at S.19Th St. And S. State St. They located the victim, Cherry, laying in the roadway with multiple gunshot wounds. Cherry was transported to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries on Dec. 26, 2023. Cherry’s vehicle was located nearby and it had been severely vandalized just prior to the shooting. A witness reported seeing a light-colored sedan, possibly occupied by four people, fleeing the scene westbound on S. 19Th St.
