DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AGG. Deputies responded to the listed location in reference to a fight between a male (D1) and a female (V1). The reporting party advised D1 was chasing V1 and attempting to "light her on fire." The RP further stated D1 was being violent and throwing things. Prior to the arrival of deputies, the RP advised D1 fled from the scene into a neighboring wooded area. Upon arrival, deputies contacted V1 who was noticeably frightened. V1 was reluctant to provide information, due to fear of retaliation from D1. Investigation revealed D1 had become enraged with V1 for unknown reasons and began throwing things around. At some point, D1 chased after V1 with a long barbecue-style lighter, flicking it and stating he was going to kill her. V1 retreated into the couple's camper where D1 threw a trash can at her and broke a window. V1 attempted to cover the broken window with a trash bag at which time D1 tried to light the bag on fire with the lighter, stating he was going to burn the trailer down with her in it. V1 stated she was calling the police and D1 told her he would kill her if she did. D1 then fled from the scene on foot. W1 corroborated R1 and V1's account of the incident Deputy Reinhardt deployed his K9 partner, Lasco, to search for D1. Three loud K9 warnings were given prior to deploying K9 Lasco in the area where D1 was last seen, but D1 did not respond. Moments later, D1 was apprehended on his right leg by K9 Lasco. D1 was treated at the scene by EVAC and later at Halifax. D1 was subsequently transported to the jail on charges of Aggravated Assault (DV) and RAWOV.
