On august 21, 2018 at approximately 1:35 a.M., patrol officers were dispatched to investigate reports of gunshots near the 2200 block of sunrise avenue. Responding officers located a pickup truck with an unresponsive male sitting in the driver’s seat. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene by medical personnel. The investigation by lvmpd homicide section detectives determined the victim was parking his vehicle before being shot by an unknown male, wearing a white t-shirt and dark pants. The vehicle rolled backwards and struck a wall before coming to a stop. The suspect fled the area in an unknown direction.Agency
