On july 12, 1997, 40 year old miguel reyes-lopez was seen by witnesses running into the pebbles corner store located on the 2400 block of larimer street. He was being followed by the suspect who was demanding money from miguel. The suspect shot miguel several times while backing out of the store, and then ran and fled the scene.
