On september 25, 2022 just after 2:00 am retired rpd officer william booker was driving home when he was involved in a car accident. Immediately following the accident, the suspect approached on foot and opened fire on booker with a handgun, killing him. Ret. Off. Booker last work as a school resource officer. “book” was loved by many in the rochester community and proud/committed father to his daughter. There are people in this neighborhood who witnessed and know the cold blooded killer of “book”. Bookers family, and the community, are pleading with these people to come forward and bring the closure they need.
