On the early morning hours of february 17th, 1983 officers from the denver police department responded to a residence near the intersection of east 20th avenue and holly street on a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers discovered 29 year old jeffrey bexley suffering from a gun shot wound to his torso. Mr. Bexley was immediately transported to a local hospital, but died as a result of his injuries.
