On january 9, 2000, the body of 38-year-old frank c. Hoebich was found dumped in the mojave desert wrapped in a roll of carpet. The investigation revealed mr. Hoebich had probably been shot and killed in lakewood, co on new year's eve, 2000. The carpet had been purchased in denver on january 3, 2000. Hoebich was last seen in the company of his two business associates at two different lakewood bars on new year's eve.
