Officers from the denver police department responded to a report of a deceased male discovered in the alley near 26th and champa streets. During the course of the initial investigation it was determined the victim was beaten to death. The victim, antonio lara, was a season worker at the crown hill memorial park. He was last seen alive the previous evening at a wedding reception held at a neighborhood church. The suspect(s) responsible for the murder of antonio lara have yet to be identified.
