On may 5, 1978 at about 6:30 pm bobby steeb jr. Was working as a part-time clerk at brambley’s gas station at 628 jefferson ave. He was shot and killed during an apparent robbery attempt. Investigators followed up on many leads, and recovered the weapon believed to have been used in a bank on the genesee river. Bobby steeb jr’s family is still searching for answers and hoping somebody with information will come forward to provide the closure they need.Agency
