Info

In the early morning hours of september 24, 2003, officers responded to a report of shots fired in the area of 4500 logan avenue. Upon their arrival, the officers found the victim, 31yearold larry branch, lying on the sidewalk inside the entryway to the apartment complex at 4500 logan avenue, suffering from several gunshot wounds to his face and legs. Branch was transported by paramedics to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead. Witnesses reported branch had been sitting on a retaining wall just inside the entryway to the complex, along with several other people. Three black males walked up to branch. One of the males said, whats up? Drew a gun and shot branch. All three men then ran out of the complex and jumped into a newer, red station wagon which sped away northbound on 47th street.
