Officers went to the Annapolis Professional Pharmacy in the 700 block of West Street in response to the hold up alarm sounding. The pharmacist told them that a white male, approximately 160 pounds, in his early 20s-late 30s, wearing blue jeans, a black hooded sweatshirt and with a white surgical mask covering his face had entered the pharmacy and pointed a handgun in his face and demanded prescription painkillers. The pharmacist unlocked the drug cabinet and the suspect filled a black bag with drugs and left the pharmacy in the direction of Taylor Avenue. The investigation is continuing.
