10/10/2012. Police in Garfield Heights are investigating the bizarre circumstances surrounding an accident that ended with a car crashing into a tree and a parked car. It happened on McCracken Boulevard near East 98th Street. Just before the crash police got a call about shots fired outside Bonker’s Bar on Turney Road. When officers responded, they spotted a car speeding down McCracken Boulevard. That car slammed into a tree and then hit a parked van. The driver, who has not been identified, was ejected from the vehicle. He was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center where he is in critical condition. View Source.
