Arrest - 60XX MONUMENTAL MILLS ROAD, RIXEYVILLE, VA

10/10/2012 02:00 PM. At approximately 2 p.m. on Wednesday, October 10th, Corporal C.T. Hibbs was on patrol in the area of the 6000th block of Monumental Mills Road in Rixeyville. Corporal Hibbs observed two suspects that had outstanding warrants for the September 16, 2012 shooting into an occupied dwelling. The two suspects, Blake Jarrells and Daniel Jarrells fled on foot into a nearby wooded area after being approached by Corporal Hibbs. Numerous K-9 Deputies and a helicopter were called in to assist with searching for the subjects. Code Red was activated and the citizens in the Rixeyville area were notified to stay indoors. The reason for the activation was to help reduce the disturbance of K-9 tracking as well as the safety of the citizens. View Source.
