Robbery on 8000 BLOCK OF WINDING WOOD ROAD, GLEN BURNIE, MD

On October 8, 2012, at approximately 8:15 p.m., officers from the Eastern District responded to the 8000 block of Winding Wood Road in Glen Burnie for a report of a citizen robbery. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the 24-year-old female victim, who reported that she was walking on Winding Wood Road when she was approached from behind by two male suspects. One of the suspects struck the victim with an unknown object, took her purse and both suspects fled on foot in an unknown direction. Several officers and a K-9 unit searched the area, but were unable to locate the suspects. The victim was transported to Baltimore Washington Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.
