200 BLOCK OF WYANOKE AVENUE, CHARLOTTE, NC
Providence Division Officers with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department have arrested Marcus Shane Humphries, DOB: 08/14/1981, and Sohrab King, DOB 09/13/1976, for their involvement in a residential breaking and entering case. On October 4, 2012, at approximately 3:00 a.m., patrol officers were dispatched to a residential breaking and entering call for service to a home in the 200 block of Wyanoke Avenue. The victim stated that he arrived at his residence to find the front door ajar and several items missing from the residence, including a distinctive type of toolbox. The victim also stated he observed two men walking down 7th street with a similar toolbox to the one that was stolen from his residence. Officers located the suspects, who live directly across the street from the victim. Information and evidence gathered during the investigation implicated both Humphries and King in the break-in. Both suspects were arrested and charged with breaking and entering with force, larceny, and possession of stolen goods. Officers also recovered property stolen from the victim’s residence in the woods directly behind the suspects home a short time later.
