Directed Patrol Unit makes arrest in Carroll Creek Linear Park
On 09/20/2012, OFC. Deborah Trapp was on routine patrol on foot in Carroll Creek Linear Park. OFC. Trapp observed a subject outside the park several minutes earlier and advised her of the ordinance that does not allow alcohol in the park. OFC. Trapp later observed this same subject walk into the park with the alcohol after being warned earlier. This subject was identified as a Tammy Sue Baker 10/31/1965.
Ms. Baker was placed under arrest for possession/consumption of an alcoholic beverage in a City park and transported to Frederick County Adult Detention Center. Frederick municipal ordinance 6-8 prohibits the possession or consumption of intoxicating beverages while in city parks.
The Frederick Police Department is committed to addressing quality of life issues within the city. The department will continue to partner with city residents and business owners in furtherance of this goal.

Sixth Arrest Made in January Kidnapping and Robbery Case
On April 14, 2014 Detectives with the Frederick Police Department made a 6th arrest in the January 2014 armed robbery and kidnapping which occurred in the area of E 16th Street and N. East Street Frederick MD.
