Theft - 21XX SOUTH ATLANTIC AVENUE, DAYTONA BEACH, FL

09/17/2012.
A fight between Daytona Beach Shores women over a purse resulted in one arrest after police discovered materials used to make methamphetamine, an arrest report shows. Krysten Lawson, 31, was arrested and charged with trafficking methanphetamines, manufacturing methamphetamines, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of listed chemicals used to make a controlled substance, the report shows. According to police, Lawson was hanging out by the pool at 2119 S. Atlantic Ave. and then went to her apartment leaving her purse by the lounge chair she was lying on. She returned 45 minutes later and could not find her purse. Lawson confronted her neighbor Patricia Axiotis about the purse and a fight started. Axiotis then told police Lawson took her purse off her bed and ran off with it, and that her cellphone was missing. Police asked permission from Lawson to search her apartment so they could check for the cellphone. Inside the unit, police found lithium batteries, several used needles, a decongestant and coffee filters, all materials used to make methamphetamine, police said. A sport utility vehicle was searched and police found a liter-size plastic bottle with clear liquid and light brown beads and metal strips. Police found 12 more plastic bottles, the report states.
