09/15/2012. Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police are investigating a stabbing that left one man with life threatening injuries. The brutal attack happened at a home on Parson Street in the Villa Heights community. Police tell NewsChannel 36, two men were drinking at a backyard cookout and began arguing. Authorities say Sugar Ray Robinson, 53, pulled out a knife and stabbed Anthony Leggett, 52, several times in the stomach, across the chest, and down his arm. View Source.
