Burglary - BAKER PLACE WEST, FREDERICK, MD

08/17/2012 08:45 PM. On 08-17-12 officers of the Frederick Police Patrol Division responded to a burglary in progress call at Baker Place West in Frederick. Upon arrival it was discovered that a screen on an outside window had been cut. Witnesses stated that a W/M and W/F had been seen entering the residence through the window. Further investigation revealed that the female (Lauren Bianca McEuen, 10-08-88) actually lived at the residence with her grandmother. The male (James Edward Steagall, 08-10-880 was McEuen’s boyfriend. Steagall was not authorized to be in the residence and also had an outstanding warrant at the time he was contacted. While officers were clearing the apartment a large amount of suspected CDS and paraphernalia were located in plain sight in McEuen’s bedroom. Both subjects were taken into custody without incident. Steagall was served with the outstanding warrant; both were charged with the following charges:
Possession of CDS/not marijuana
Paraphernalia
Possession of syringes
At the time of this release they are waiting an initial appearance before the District Court Commissioner.
