Arrest on 1000 BLOCK OF WEST PATRICK STREET, FREDERICK, MD

On Sunday August 12, 2012 at approximately 0924 hours Officer Prior of the Frederick Police Department responded to the Kmart on West Patrick Street for the report of a theft in progress. Upon arrival Officer Prior located Loss Prevention personnel with a subject, later identified as Smith-Bracey, Tyzaia D’Vonne, who had just stolen 2 shirts from the store. Smith-Bracey was placed under arrest, where a search incident to arrest yielded a quantity of suspected cocaine on his person. Smith-Bracey was transported to central booking for a hearing before a District Court Commissioner.
