Arrest - CATOCTIN DR. AND CARROLLTON DR, FREDERICK, MD

CDS arrest after Motor Vehicle Stop On 04/06/12 at approximately 1234 hours Officer K. Meyer was on routine patrol in the area of Catoctin Dr. and Carrollton Dr. He observed MD tag KMV236 fail to stop at a stop sign. A traffic stop was made and on initial contact with the driver officer Meyer could smell marijuana coming from the vehicle. The driver was arrested for possession of marijuana and searched incident to arrest. Plastic bags which contained marijuana were located in the driver’s pocket. Also located in the vehicle was a digital scale with suspected marijuana residue on it and a smoking pipe. The driver was identified as Ross Dominick Catron by his Maryland Driver’s License.
