On saturday, june 25, 2022, at 10:10pm, columbus police officers were called to the 2000 block of argyle dr. On a shotspotter alert. While the officers were en route, the emergency communications center received a report of two people shot at that location. On arrival, officers found 24-year-old neal smith and a 34-year-old female, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Cfd medic 20 transported smith to osu east hospital in critical condition, where he was pronounced deceased at 10:58pm.Agency
