On Friday, May 13, 2011 Sergeant Lance Barley responded to the Ennstone Aggregate Plant on Kings Highway in Stafford County for a report of the theft of electrical copper wires that controlled the power to the large conveyor belts that move the aggregate at the plant. The facility had been closed down for several months but was in the process of re-opening when the theft was discovered. The copper wire stolen was actually four separate copper wire bundles, banded together, approximately 4 inches in diameter. It is estimated that between 1,500 ? 2,000 feet of copper wire was stolen.
