Robbery on 2000 BLOCK OF E PLATTE AVENUE, COLORADO SPRINGS, CO

Summary Officers were dispatched to a personal robbery that occurred in the 2000 block of E. Platte Avenue. Officers contacted the victim who advised that he was walking on E. Platte Avenue when a dark colored SUV pulled up next to him and the occupants of that vehicle asked him if he had any money. When he told them that he didn't, the three occupants exited the vehicle and pushed the victim against a nearby wall. One of the suspects then punched the victim in the face and checked the victim's pockets. Nothing was taken from the victim. The suspect vehicle was described as a black later model, Chevy Suburban. The suspects were described as follows: 1--dark skinned black male, 5'6" tall, medium build, short cropped hair, last seen wearing a white tank top, and blue jean shorts; #2--black male, 6'00" tall, thin build, short afro style hair cut, last seen wearing a black sweatshirt, black baggie pants, #3 white male, 5'5" tall, heavy build, medium length brown hair, white tank top, blue jean shorts.
